Welcome to the Wander'in Star Ranch located in beautiful Penn Valley California, just one hour north of Sacramento nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains. During the California Gold Rush, Penn Valley was famous as the Bread Basket suppling the gold miners who came to seek their fortune. Today, Penn Valley is horse ranches with white rail fences, speciality wineries and vineyards, along with boutique organic farms. These farms still provide the same Bread Basket to the local community, as was done during the Gold Rush days of Old!

What We Do

At the Wander'in Star Ranch, Chuck and Susan Shea work on their hobbies of,  "Back on the Land", developing our own natural ranch raised and organic chickens, eggs, and sheep. As well as home grown fruit and vegatables.

The Parsonage Bed & Breakfast  located in Historic Nevada City where we started years ago, providing fresh eggs from the Ranch each day for use in the gourmet breakfasts that are created by Susan for our guests! ...YOU NEED TO COME FOR A STAY AT THE PARSONAGE and experiences the Breakfasts! www.theparsonage.net
